Fraud Investigation

Police received a report that three electric bicycles had been purchased using a stolen credit card. The case was referred to the Detective Division for further investigation.
Water Safety Check

Officers responded to concerns about several children and an adult paddleboarding on the Croton River during heavy currents. Upon arrival, the family was leaving the area without incident.

Police investigated a report of two vehicles displaying the same license plate. Officers determined one vehicle had a suspended registration and improper plates. Both vehicles were impounded, summonses were issued, and the improper plates were confiscated.

Fraud Investigation

Officers responded after contractors began replacing a roof at a residence based on fraudulent information provided by an individual falsely claiming ownership of the property. Work was stopped, the contractor agreed to restore the damaged roof, and a police investigation is ongoing.
Disturbance
August 8, 2026 – 11:32 AM · North Riverside Avenue
Police responded to a verbal dispute in a restaurant parking lot after a caller reported threatening comments. Officers determined no weapons were involved, the incident was verbal only, and there was no criminal activity.
