Eagle Scout Project Donation
I am requesting that the Village Board of Trustees accept a monetary donation in the amount of
$263.77, as well as various supplies, from Spencer Celente as part of his Eagle Scout service project.
Spencer worked with the Trails Committee and Village Dept. of Public Works to improve a section
of the Jan Wines Memorial Trail System near Mount Airy Road. Two crossing points along the trail
were previously constructed haphazardly. The project consisted of installing a small bridge over a
creek (approximately 7 feet long) and a trail bridge over a 30-foot wetland area.
Spencer has completed his project and is seeking to donate the remaining funds and supplies to be
used for continued trails maintenance.
