From: Matt Arnold To: Cc: Carolyn Whiting Subject: Re: Red light cameras Date: Thursday, January 22, 2026 11:30:37 PM ***CAUTION: External sender.*** Hi Bryan –  While members did express some concerns over red light cameras generally, and potential data privacy concerns, the committee endorses the camera installation.   Regarding camera placement, the Committee supports the Chief’s proposal of cameras at the two exit ramps on Croton Point Avenue – and as an alternative to the option of placing a camera at the intersection of South Riverside and Municipal Place, the committee suggests considering placing the third camera at the intersection of South Riverside and Croton Point. Rationale:  this could cover the CPA corridor and is a location with higher auto, bike and pedestrian traffic.   Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks,  Matt
