New York SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless
Special Permit Review in connection with the Existing Telecommunications Facility
at 1 Van Wyck Street, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
Dear Hon. Mayor Pugh and Members of the Board of Trustees:
We are the attorneys for New York SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless
(“Verizon Wireless”) in connection with its existing telecommunications facility (“Facility”)
collocated on the roof of the building (“Building”) at the above referenced property (“Property”).
The Facility consists of a replacement lattice mast on the Building, together with equipment in the
existing equipment room at the Building.
In accordance with Condition #1 of the Resolution, dated December 3, 2018 (as amended
pursuant to Resolution #25-2019, dated February 19, 2019) attached hereto as Exhibit A, and
Section 206-5.N of the Village of Croton on Hudson Village Code, the Board may review Verizon
Wireless’ special permit at five year intervals to determine whether the technology in the provision
of personal wireless services has changed such that the necessity for the permit at the time of its
approval has been eliminated or modified. In connection with the foregoing, Verizon Wireless
hereby confirms that the technology has not changed to eliminate the need for the Facility and with
respect thereto, we are pleased to include the following materials:
1. One (1) check in the amount of $2,500.00 which represents the Village Special
Permit Review Fee;
2. One (1) Radio Frequency-Electromagnetic (RF-EME) Jurisdictional Report,
prepared by EBI Consulting attached hereto as Exhibit B; and
3. One (1) Certification from Verizon Wireless Radio Frequency Engineer, Ali
Aljibori, attached hereto as Exhibit C.
Thank you for your consideration. We look forward to discussing this matter at your next
available meeting. If you have any questions or require additional documentation, please do not
hesitate to call me or Leslie Snyder at (914) 333-0700.
