On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on- Hudson, New York 
with the following vote: 
 
Resolution #242-2023 
 
WHEREAS, the Village occasionally requires welding services that cannot be 
performed in-house; and 
 
WHEREAS, on November 9, 2023, the Village published an Invitation to Bid #7- 
2023 for welding services; and 
 
WHEREAS, on November 21, 2023, two bids were received and publicly read: one 
bid from Santella Welding of Putnam Valley, New York, in the amount of $34,720, 
and one bid from Senco Metals of Paterson, New Jersey in the amount of $84,000; 
and 
 
WHEREAS, Frank Balbi, Superintendent of Public Works, has recommended that 
the bid be awarded to Santella Welding, 
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby 
authorized to award the bid for the Village’s welding services to Santella Welding 
in the not-to-exceed amount of $34,720 for the period beginning December 6, 
2023, through December 6, 2024.
