Murtaugh Village Manager Janine King Village Treasurer Sandra Bullock Village Engineer/Building Inspector Daniel O’Connor, P.E. Asst. Building Inspector/Assessor Joseph Sperber Fire Inspector Peter Anfiteatro MEMORANDUM Date: 12/13/17 To: Janine King From: Daniel O’Connor Subject: Fratelli’s Trattoria – 8 Old Post Road South Proposed Sunroom Addition The owner of Fratelli’s Trattoria restaurant at 8 Old Post Road South applied for and received an amended site plan approval (see attached resolution) from the Planning Board for a sunroom addition to replace the open deck with pergola. I have attached the renderings of the proposed sunroom that were submitted to the Planning Board. A portion of this sunroom will be located on Village property. The Planning Board included a condition in the resolution of amended site plan approval that, “any necessary approvals from the Village shall be obtained prior to the issuance of a building permit for the portion of the proposed sunroom on Village property.” After discussions with the Village Attorney it was determined that the Village should issue a license agreement to cover any improvements located on Village property in order to legally protect the Village. Attached is a proposed license agreement with exhibits. Please place this on the next Village Board agenda for authorization for you to sign the license agreement with Fratelli’s Trattoria, Inc. subject to the Village Attorney’s final approval. Please let me know if any additional information is needed. Enc. (License agreement, PB resolution) cc: File
