February 21, 2024 To: NYS Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) The Village of Croton on Hudson will support forthcoming community campaigns to promote purchasing of electric vehicles (EV), EV chargers, and heat pumps (HP) by Croton residents and businesses. We thank NYSERDA for making available Clean Energy Community (CEC) Leadership Round grants stemming from those campaigns. Those grants will be used for the following types of projects: - Heat Pumps -Solar arrays -Electric vehicle (EV) chargers -Electric vehicles (EVs) As evidenced by Croton’s past work with NYSERDA grants (e.g., LED retrofits, EV charging stations), we are committed to maximizing the value of such funds to secure the largest available carbon reductions per invested dollar.
