On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #123-2024 WHEREAS, on March 15, 2021, the Village Board of Trustees approved the renewal of a special permit for the operation of a smoke shop at 50 Maple Street; and WHEREAS, this special permit is set to expire July 23, 2024, and must be renewed in accordance with the Zoning Chapter of the Village Code; and WHEREAS, on May 8, 2024, the Village Board of Trustees referred the renewal of the special permit application to the Planning Board for a recommendation back to the Village Board of Trustees as required by law; and WHEREAS, the Planning Board has provided a memorandum of support for the special permit renewal application, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: the Village Board of Trustees hereby issues a special permit to Smoke Town Discount for a three-year period from July 24, 2024, through July 23, 2027, to operate as a smoke shop at 50 Maple Street; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that this special permit is contingent upon the permittee remaining compliant with all the rules and regulations promulgated by the New York State Dept. of Taxation & Finance and the Westchester County Dept. of Health.
