On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #173-2024 WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees has received an application from ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. for a renewal of its Special Permit to operate a retail store at 460 South Riverside Avenue; and WHEREAS, on January 10, 2024, the Village Board referred the renewal application to the Village Planning Board in accordance with Village law; and WHEREAS, the Village Board has received a favorable recommendation from the Planning Board; and WHEREAS, the Village Board held a public hearing on the renewal of the special permit on January 24, 2024; and WHEREAS, the property maintenance agreement required by the Planning Board in the 2016 site plan approval has been agreed upon, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby renews the special permit for ShopRite Supermarkets, Inc. to operate a retail store at 460 South Riverside Avenue subject to the following conditions: A. That, the property maintenance agreement approved by the Village Board shall be executed by the property owner within 20 days of this permit renewal. B. That, this special permit is issued for a period of eight years, commencing on April 4, 2021, and ending on April 4, 2029. Application for renewal of the special permit shall be made no later than three months prior to the expiration date. Date: August 21, 2024
