To Village of Croton-on-Hudson Planning Board/Building & Engineering Department, 
As part of our recent submission for approval of the book donation bins in the lower section of the 
Library parking lot, it has come to my attention that there is a $425 application fee payable to the 
village. 
On behalf of the Croton Free Library, I would like to formally request consideration for a waiver of 
this fee. As a non-profit organization operating with a modest budget, any opportunity to reduce 
expenses is greatly appreciated. While we fully understand and respect the Village’s review process 
and the associated costs, this waiver would significantly support our efforts in serving the 
community.
