Our backyard has a view of the library parking lot and the bins We have no objection to the book bins other than the color of the bins. In the fall and winter the bins are very visible from our house. Would recommend changing the color to something that blends better with the surroundings, fencing the bins with a wooden fence or planting additional evergreens along the parking lot to block the view from Munson St. (the bottoms of the current evergreen trees are bare and no longer block the view of the parking lot). As you can see from the attached photo the bins are just coming into view as the leaves fall, and they stick out like a sore thumb. The blue color certainly pops and will become more visible once all the leaves fall. Hoping that an earthy color would allow them to blend with the background vegetation.
