Re: Letter of Intent for Project MOVER
On behalf of [municipality name], I am pleased to formally commit our support for Project
MOVER, including its three flagship programs: E-Bikeshare, E-Bike Ownership Pathways, and
E-Bike Libraries. We recognize the critical role these initiatives play in advancing equitable,
sustainable, and safe transportation options for our community.
With this letter, we confirm our intent to execute a Site Agreement before any launch that
permits Shared Mobility Inc. (SMI) and its operational partners to deploy bikeshare stations at
municipal property and in the public right of way.
Our municipality is committed to working collaboratively with Shared Mobility Inc., Drop Mobility,
and the broader Project MOVER team to refine bikeshare stations within our jurisdiction. We will
work with them to jointly identify the final set of station sites (further detail on the site options
can be found in the attached memo). While full station site approvals are currently being
finalized, we are prepared to move forward, through this Letter of Intent, to ensure that the
project can progress swiftly and efficiently.
[municipality] has engaged key departments—including Police, Fire, and Public Works—to
ensure comprehensive support for the safe and effective deployment of these programs. The
municipality is working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that Project MOVER is
implemented in a way that meets both community needs and safety requirements. We endorse
the goals of Project MOVER and look to these programs being implemented in our region.
