On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York with the following vote: Resolution #203-2024 WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson has been selected to participate in Project MOVER, an E-bikeshare program designed to enhance mobility and provide environmentally friendly transportation alternatives; and WHEREAS, Shared Mobility Inc. and Drop Mobility have conducted a preliminary analysis and site assessment, identifying potential locations for E-bikeshare stations within the Village as detailed in the Preliminary Siting Memo, which includes both primary and secondary locations; and WHEREAS, the Project MOVER E-bikeshare initiative aligns with the Village's goals of promoting sustainability, reducing carbon emissions, and increasing access to public transit options, as well as providing safe, equitable, and reliable transportation; and WHEREAS, the Village is prepared to enter into a Site Agreement with Shared Mobility Inc. to finalize the deployment of bikeshare stations on municipal property and within public rights of way, subject to review by the appropriate Village departments and community stakeholders, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby authorized to sign the attached Letter of Intent with Shared Mobility Inc. and Drop Mobility, confirming the Village's commitment to supporting Project MOVER and moving forward with the finalization of site locations.
