On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution was 
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York with 
a - vote. 
 
Resolution #94-2025 
 
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 6 of 2025 has been drafted to make various 
updates to Chapter 125, Fire Prevention, and Chapter 197, Streets and Sidewalks, of the 
Village Code; and 
 
WHEREAS, the proposed local law includes revisions to the fire inspection process, 
billing for sidewalk repairs and the placing of dumpsters/storage units in the right-of-
way; and 
 
WHEREAS, the proposed local law is considered a Type II action under the State 
Environmental Quality Review Act; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board of Trustees opened and closed a public hearing on Local 
Law Introductory No. 6 of 2025 on May 14, 2025; and 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
adopts Local Law Introductory No. 6 of 2025, amending Chapter 125, Fire Prevention, 
and Chapter 197, Streets and Sidewalks, of the Village Code, which upon adoption 
becomes Local Law No. 7 of 2025.
