On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York: Resolution #137-2025 WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson partners with Marshall and Sterling Employee Benefits (MSEB) to implement portions of the Affordable Care Act; and WHEREAS, MSEB has provided the Village with a Business Associate Agreement to outline their commitment to guard the protected health information of employees; and WHEREAS, the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requires any parties handling protected health information to have a formal written agreement detailing the arraignment, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Village Manager to execute the Business Associate Agreement from Marshall and Sterling Employee Benefits as presented.
