To: From: Date: October 13, 2023 Re: Retail Dispensary License – 440 S. Riverside The Village received notification from Thomas Moore Jr. of his intention to apply for an adult- use retail dispensary license from the Office of Cannabis Management. The business will be located at 440 South Riverside Avenue. Per the state regulations, and the Village’s zoning laws, the business would be permitted to operate in this location as it is not within 500 feet of school grounds or 200 feet of a house of worship. Additionally, it is located within the C-2 zoning district, which permits the operation of retail shops. The Village Board has until November 3, 2023, to provide an opinion on this application to the Cannabis Control Board, or it may choose not to provide any comments. Going forward, applications received for cannabis licenses or liquor licenses will be placed on the Board’s agenda for comment by both the Board and the public. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the above. Thank you. Mayor Brian Pugh Trustees Ann Gallelli Sherry Horowitz Nora Moriarty Nicholson Len Simon Village Manager Bryan T.
