On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-
on-Hudson, New York:
WHEREAS, the 2010-2011 contract with Paladino Concrete Creations Corp. for the
sidewalk improvement program for sidewalk and curb has expired; and
WHEREAS, the contract was written for one year but allows for an extension of an
additional year at the same prices if both parties agree; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Assistant Building Inspector that the extension of
the contract would be in the best interest of the Village as the contractor’s price is
favorable and their performance is adequate; and
WHEREAS, the base contract amount would be $251,550 excluding change orders;
and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Manager is hereby
authorized to award the 2011-2012 contract for sidewalk and curb improvement
project to Paladino Concrete Creations Corp. for the amount of $251,550
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that this amount should be charged to capital
account #H-5110.2106.12230.
