On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the 
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of 
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:  
 
Resolution #5-2022 
 
WHEREAS, the Village would like to amend Chapter 160 of the Village Code, 
Noise, to establish regulations on gas-powered leaf blowers; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village Board is considering the adoption of Local Law 
Introductory No. 14 of 2021 which has been drafted to reflect such language; and 
 
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2021 was 
opened and closed on January 18, 2022, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees 
hereby adopts Local Law Introductory No. 14 of 2021 to amend Chapter 160 of the 
Village Code, Noise, to establish regulations on gas-powered leaf blowers, which 
upon adoption becomes Local Law No. 2 of 2022.
