On motion of TRUSTEE____________, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the 
following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of 
Croton-on-Hudson, New York:   
 
Resolution #82-2022 
 
WHEREAS, on February 25, 2022, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson issued a 
request for proposals (RFP) for the installation of a solar array on the roof of the 
Washington Engine Firehouse; and 
 
WHEREAS, by the response deadline of April 4, 2022, one response was received; 
and 
 
WHEREAS, the response was from Croton Energy Group in the amount of 
$100,526; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village has received grant funding from the New York State 
Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) to cover the cost of this 
installation; and 
 
WHEREAS, the response has been reviewed by the Sustainability Committee, as 
well as the Village Engineer and Superintendent of Public Works, who are all in 
support of this proposal, 
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby 
authorizes the Village Manager to award the contract for the installation of a solar 
array at the Washington Engine Firehouse at a cost of $100,526.
