THIS AGREEMENT made as of this
day of
, 2022, between the VILLAGE OF
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, a municipal corporation, having its office at One Van Wyck
Street, Croton-on-Hudson, New York ("the Village"), and AMERICAN LEGION FOX-EKLOF POST
505, located at Six Terrace Place, Croton-on-Hudson, New York ("the Post").
WHEREAS, the Village is desirous of supporting patriotic observances and remembrances
throughout the year, including, but not limited to, Vietnam Veterans Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Veterans Day and Pearl Harbor Day; and
WHEREAS, for many years, the Post has coordinated the celebrations and services for these holidays;
and
WHEREAS, the Village and the Post seek to formalize this relationship,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements set forth in this
agreement, the parties mutually agree as follows:
1. The Village hereby agrees to reimburse the Post up to $2,500.00 annually for supplies and
refreshments purchased in support of the aforementioned patriotic observances and
remembrances.
2. The Post agrees to submit itemized receipts for reimbursement to the Village Treasurer
within 30 days of purchase.
3. The term of the agreement shall be from June 1, 2022, through May 31, 2027.
