On motion of TRUSTEE ___, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson,
New York, with a - vote.
Resolution #148-2022
WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is desirous of supporting patriotic
observances and remembrances throughout the year, including, but not limited to,
Vietnam Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day and Pearl
Harbor Day; and
WHEREAS, for many years, Fox-Eklof American Legion Post 505 (“the Post”) has
coordinated the celebrations and services for these holidays; and
WHEREAS, the Village and the Post seek to formalize this relationship; and
WHEREAS, up to $2,500 shall be expended annually to reimburse the Post for these
services,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Board of Trustees hereby
authorizes the Village Manager to execute the agreement between American Legion
Fox-Eklof Post 505 and the Village of Croton-on-Hudson to support patriotic
observances and remembrances throughout the year for the period beginning June 1,
2022, through May 31, 2027; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that funding for such expense is available in
A7550.4000: Celebrations – Contractual.
