On motion of TRUSTEE _____, seconded by TRUSTEE ____, the following 
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, 
New York, with a - vote. 
 
Resolution #151-2022 
 
WHEREAS, §197-9 of the Village Code, general use regulations related to street 
trees, has been found to be inconsistent with the provisions outlined in §208 of the 
Village Code, Trees; and 
 
WHEREAS, the Village wishes to amend the code to remove redundant and 
inconsistent language applicable to the care and maintenance of street trees; and 
 
WHEREAS Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2022 has been drafted for such 
purposes, 
 
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Board of Trustees hereby 
schedules a Public Hearing for November 1, 2022, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna 
Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider 
deleting §197-9 of the Village Code to align with the provisions in §208 of the 
Village Code, Trees.
