On motion of TRUSTEE ---, seconded by TRUSTEE ---, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on- Hudson, New York with
a - vote.
Resolution #181-2026
WHEREAS, the New York State Budget for 2026-2027 included legislation that
increased the income limits for the senior citizen rental income exemption and disabled
persons rental income exemption programs from $50,000 to $75,000; and
WHEREAS, these changes were discussed at a work session held on July 22, 2026;
and
WHEREAS, Local Law Introductory No. 11 of 2026 has been drafted to increase the
statutory limits in the Village Code,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees hereby
calls for a Public Hearing on September 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Georgianna Grant
Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building to consider Local
Law Introductory No. 11 of 2026 to amend Chapter 204, Taxation, of the Village Code
to update the limits for the senior citizen rental income exemption and disabled persons
rental income exemption programs.
