, the following resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton- on-Hudson, New York, with a - vote: Resolution #208-2026 WHEREAS, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson issues dog licenses for all dogs and puppies over four months of age, as required by state law; and WHEREAS, legislation recently enacted by the state requires the Village to provide an opportunity for licensees to donate to a local animal shelter; and WHEREAS, in order to update the license forms with this information, an upgrade to the online renewal system is recommended; and WHEREAS, the cost of this upgrade was not anticipated in the 2026-2027 General Fund budget, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board hereby authorizes the Village Treasurer to make the following budget transfer in the 2026-2027 General Fund budget: A3510.4000 Animal Control - Contractual $1,750 Decrease A1990.4000 Contingency $1,750 Dated: September 2, 2026
