New Business Subject 5.1 Tax Warrant - Croton-Harmon Union Free School District 2026-2027 Type Action Recommended Action RESOLVED: That the Board of Education hereby approves the 2026-2027 Tax Warrant for the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District as presented. WHEREAS, the voters of the Croton-Harmon Union Free School District have approved the 2026-2027 school budget in the amount of $62,762,808; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education has estimated its 2026-2027 State Aid receivable in the amount of $10,556,717: and WHEREAS, the Board of Education has estimated its 2026-2027 non-tax revenue in the amount of $12,428,260 (which includes $10,556,717 State Aid); and WHEREAS, the Board of Education authorizes applying $2,716,925 from the Undesignated Fund Balance, $200,000 from the Employees' Retirement System Reserve, $800,000 from the Tax Certiori Reserve, $100,000 from the Unemployment Insurance Reserve, and $100,000 from the Workers' Compensation Reserve to the reduction of the tax levy; and THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Education confirms the tax rolls as per the attached documents and hereby approves the attached 2026-2027 tax warrant in the amount of $46,417,623 and commands each town's tax collector to collect the amounts of the levy apportioned at the tax rates calculated in the Appendix A attached to the tax warrant, beginning September 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2027, giving the tax warrant an effective period of 302 days. §
