Consent Agenda Subject 6.17 Phase 2-PVC HVAC Bid Alternate #1 and #3 Award (Project # 02-032) Amendment Type Action (Consent) Recommended Action RESOLUTION TO CORRECT RESOLUTION AWARDING BID ALTERNATES TO CONTRACT AWARDED TO CLEAN AIR QUALITY SERVICES WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on June 11, 2026 as Agenda Item 7.11, the Board of Education of Croton-Harmon Union Free School District (the “Board of Education”) awarded a contract to Clean Air Quality Services, Inc. to complete air conditioning work on the second floor of Pierre Van Cortlandt Middle School as part of Phase 2 of the Capital Project (the “Contract”); and WHEREAS, by resolution adopted on June 29, 2026 as Agenda Item 5.8, the Board of Education awarded two bid alternates to the Contract awarded to Clean Air Quality Services, Inc. on June 11, 2026; and WHEREAS, the June 29, 2026 resolution contained an error with respect to the overall total contract sum and the price of Alternate 3 (for fourth floor electrical upgrade) and the bid tabulation chart attached to KG+D Architects recommendation letter, dated June 10, 2026, that was referenced in the June 11, 2026 resolution also contained an error with respect to the price for Alternate 3; and WHEREAS, the Board of Education now seeks to retroactively correct the total contract sum and the sum for Alternate 3 included in the total contract sum of the Contract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education retroactively corrects the sum for Alternate 3 from $72,250.00 to $72,230.00 included in the Contract awarded by resolutions adopted on June 11, 2026 and June 29, 2026 to Clean Air Quality Services, Inc. and reduces, in turn, the total contract sum of this contract from $805,800.00 to $805,780.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the District’s Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Treasurer are hereby authorized individually and severally to take all actions necessary to implement the purpose of this resolution.
