The election will take place at a regular or special meeting, in each component district, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS Elected to the Putnam/Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services, April 2002. Re-elected April 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020, 2023. Elected to the Carmel Board of Education May 1999. Re-elected May 2000, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018. Elected to the Westchester/Putnam School Boards Association May 2000. Elected President of the Carmel Board of Education 2001-2002, 2004-2015. Elected President of the Putnam/Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services, July 2012 to present. Have attended NYSSBA seminars and courses, including New School Board Member, Senior School Board Member and Leadership Seminar. Also attended NYSSBA Conventions each year I have been a school board member. EDUCATION 1976 Associate in Science, John Jay College of Criminal Justice 1976 Received additional credits New York City Police Department/John Jay College of Criminal Justice EMPLOYMENT 1994-present Consultant Croker Fire Drill/Safety Corporation Vice President of Operations Involved in training personnel of major corporations in the Metropolitan area about Fire Safety as it relates to the workplace. Also consult with building management about Fire Safety and the design of various emergency plans. 1974-1994 New York City Police Department Retired as a Detective in the Crime Scene Unit, responsibilities included the investigation of major crime committed in New York City. I was the training officer for the Unit for two years prior to retirement. I was an instructor at the Police Academy for the Criminal Investigators Course as well as the Homicide Course. I taught Social Science to recruits from January 1982 to July 1982. Member of the Emergency Service Unit 1982-1986. Worked patrol in various police commands throughout the City of New York 1974-1982.
