Among various incidents of the trip were a Japanese banquet in stocking-feet sitting on the floor, partaking of raw fish, etc., and a day under investigation as a spy because of my interest in taking photographs of freight handling facilities in a Japanese harbor. On my way home I spent about two weeks in the Pacific coast cities and included a trip up Mt. Rainier, two days of horse backing in Arizona, and a swim in Lake Michigan. "It seems to make no difference in what part of the world one travels, one finds Harvard men. J. B. Chevalier, '08, added much to the enjoyment of the trip from Vancouver to Yokohama. Two other Harvard friends were found in Shanghai. "As a result of my book 'Graphic Methods for Presenting Facts,' published in 1914, there have been a number of invitations to lecture before different societies and at different colleges, including the Harvard Business School, the Dartmouth Business School, University of Chicago Business School, etc.
