The committee will also finalize logistics for National Night Out, set for Tuesday, August 4, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that builds police-community partnerships through neighborhood gatherings, block parties, and public safety demonstrations. Croton’s event has been well attended in past years, with trustees and village officials regularly praising the turnout. Discussion during the 6:31– 6:40 p.m. slot will cover vendor coordination, activities, and any remaining logistical details. The meeting is expected to open with approval of the committee’s June 12 public meeting minutes, which are included in the agenda packet as a Word document. Toward the end of the session, the committee will consider its meeting calendar. Two questions are on the agenda: whether an additional meeting is needed before August 31, and whether to schedule a follow-up meeting for September 17. The September meeting would cover follow-up from previous sessions and any new business.
