Planning Board Seeks Tighter Site Plan Rules After State Exempts Housing From Environmental Review

New York State now exempts new housing developments of up to 100 units from environmental review, and on Sept. 8 the Croton-on-Hudson Planning Board went through a proposed zoning amendment meant to keep traffic, school, fiscal and infrastructure questions inside the village's own code.
