Larceny

Employee reported a larceny that occurred earlier in the day. Patrol was dispatched and took all information for a report.

Caller reported a male screaming at himself in the area of Olcott Avenue and Radnor Avenue. Patrols responded and located the male. The male stated that he was on the phone talking to someone and does not need assistance.

Patrol followed up on an investigation regarding a Criminal Mischief. Patrol reported that a 36-year-old Croton resident was placed under arrest at the scene. She was transported to police HQ where she was processed for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. She was then transferred into Peekskill Police custody for an outstanding warrant.

Detectives located a suspect while traveling on Route 9 South in regards to a past occurred Larceny. The vehicle was stopped on Route 9 and the operator, a 59-year-old Lake Peekskill resident, was placed under arrest. He was transported to Police HQ where he was charged with Petit Larceny, and released on his own recognizance.
Property Lost

Caller reported her wallet may have been stolen in the area of ShopRite. Patrol responded, checked camera footage, and did not observe anyone steal a wallet. Caller advised that someone had dropped her wallet in her mailbox later in the day.
Suspicious Person
4/10/2026 6:00pm · Prickly Pear Hill Road
Caller saw a car parked on her street and thought the person inside looked suspicious. Patrol spoke to the party who was waiting for a friend on the street.
Assist Other Agency
4/10/2026 8:22pm · Croton Train Station
MTA PD requested Croton PD assistance with a train pulling in at 8:37pm for an intoxicated male. Patrol responded with a delay due to another call. Patrol reported the individual was transported to Phelps via Croton EMS.

4/11/2026 11:37am · Maple Street
Caller reported a protest of approximately 20 people on Maple Street in front of CVS. The caller stated the group was obstructing the view of traffic for vehicles attempting to enter the roadway. Patrol was dispatched and advised that all individuals were on the sidewalk and in compliance. Officers will continue periodic checks. Later, patrols noted the group had grown larger, but participants remained orderly and compliant.
