Quarterly Report PUBLIC WORKS QUARTERLY REPORT Fiscal Year 2026/2027 First Quarter: June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 Highway • Repaired 10 catch basin locations throughout Village • Weekly asphalt maintenance (potholes and water patches) • Trimmed approximately 40 trees • Removed 10 trees (including grinding leftover stumps) • Catch basin cleaning throughout Village • Swept roadways Sanitation: • Collected approximately 946 tons of refuse • Weekly collection of Village co-mingled, paper and metal recycling • Collected approximately 250 tons of organic waste Building Maintenance: • Street light repairs • Replaced various signage throughout Village • Crosswalk and stop bar paint refresh • New HVAC in Main Office, Engineering Department • Painted hand rails at Municipal Building • Painted Community Room at Municipal Building • Started Phase I of Engineering Dept renovation Water Department: • Meter reading for water billing • Maintenance to pumps and motors • Responded to 136 code 53-mark outs • Submission of monthly reports to Westchester County • Completed monthly water sampling • Replaced 144 non-working water meters • Work on Upper North Highland tank rehab/replacement project • Maintenance/Repairs to Chlorine systems • Work on lead service, line inventory list • Maintenance to orthophosphate system • WCDOH Annual Survey • Fix leaks and drain line issue at Silver Lake • (2) water leaks (not ours) • Repair damaged valve boxes • Work with school district to replace meter at CHHS • Assist with paving projects • Semi-Annual hydrant flushing • Service to Analyzers • Water leak 14 Amber Drive Department of Public Works Quarterly Report • Replace plumbing for entry point as per WCDOH • Work on Lounsbury Road relining project • Assist DPW • Repair multiple fire hydrants • Van Cortlandt Manor project – assist as needed • Remove/repair valve on Gerstein Street Parks Department: • Installed and beautified area around Manes Memorial • Continue removing debris from Village Parks and Playgrounds • Litter removal in Village parks and fields • Installed multiple new benches and tables in Village Parks • Cut Village ball fields Repair Facility: • Maintenance on all Village vehicles • Weekly inspection and maintenance of all police vehicles • Assist Fire Department with vehicle maintenance Capital Projects: • Continued the design process for the Half Mon Bay Bridge project • Continued working on design of renovations/addition to the Gouveia property to accommodate new Recreation Department • Resurfacing project completed on Cleveland Drive • Worked on layout and submission for new RRFBs at Maple and Van Cortlandt • Worked with consultant for Upper North Highland inspection/feasibility study • Started Phase II of train station drainage for solar canopies • Worked with D&B Engineers on Brook Street drainage project • Constructed first half of Farrington Step Project on time for the start of the school year • Scheduled new epoxy floors for new EMS facility/Harmon Firehouse for early October
