Dear Board of Trustees,
This letter accompanies a revised site plan for the integrated energy system to be installed at Croton
Auto Park at 1 Municipal Place in Croton-on-Hudson. This revision is in response to the meeting of the
Planning Board of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson on August 6, 2024, the feedback provided at the
meeting and the memo with reference # 79-12-3-2 containing recommendations from that meeting.
As recommended, Sprocket Power has revised the plan to move the BESS and other non-utility
equipment to a location near the proposed solar canopy car port and EV charging. In addition, we
explored with Con Edison whether there was any flexibility in the placement of the 480V transformer
that is required to supply the DCFC chargers being installed to meet Stellantis mandates. Con Edison
generally has limitations on equipment placements as they are mostly driven by the layout of the local
grid. In this case, we did arrive at a placement of the transformer and incoming service that would
address some of the Planning Board concerns. As you see, the transformer will be placed on the north
side of the driveway. Due to the topography there, the transformer and utility-related equipment will be
below the grade of sidewalk/road.
We look forward to discussing the project and these revisions at the upcoming meeting and answering
any questions you may have.
