On motion of TRUSTEE -, seconded by TRUSTEE -, the following resolution was
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York
with the following vote:
Resolution #60-2026
WHEREAS, the Village has received a draft franchise agreement from Verizon to
provide cable television service in certain areas of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village retained the services of Cohen Law Group to negotiate the
terms of the franchise agreement; and
WHEREAS, the new franchise agreement has been finalized and a public hearing is
required to be held before it can be approved,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village of Croton-on-Hudson
Board of Trustees hereby calls for a public hearing at 7:00 PM, on the 22nd day of
April, 2026, in the Georgianna Grant Meeting Room of the Stanley H. Kellerhouse
Municipal Building, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, for all interested
persons to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the proposed grant of a cable
franchise to Verizon New York, Inc. franchise for a period of five years.
