The Public Works quarterly report for March 1 through May 31, 2026, records the collection of approximately 888 tons of refuse and 251 tons of organic waste, repair of 15 catch basins along Cleveland Drive and elsewhere, trimming of about 25 trees, and replacement of 84 non-working water meters. The Water Department worked on the Upper North Highland tank rehab/replacement project, the Lounsbury Road relining project and a lead service line inventory. Capital projects included continued design for the Half Moon Bay Bridge, design of renovations to the Gouveia property for the new Recreation Department, bid review for Cleveland resurfacing, and continued work on the Dobbs Park Improvement project.

Quarterly Report PUBLIC WORKS QUARTERLY REPORT Fiscal Year 2025/2026 Fourth Quarter: March 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026 Highway • Planted 3 new trees for Arbor Day • Repaired 15 catch basins along Cleveland Drive and other locations throughout Village • Weekly asphalt maintenance (potholes and water patches) • Trimmed approximately 25 trees • Removed 5 trees (including grinding leftover stumps) • Sewer Jetting throughout the Village • Catch basin cleaning throughout Village • Swept roadways Sanitation: • Collected approximately 888 tons of refuse • Weekly collection of Village co-mingled, paper and metal recycling • Collected approximately 251 tons of organic waste Building Maintenance: • Street light repairs • Replaced various signage throughout Village • Crosswalk and stop bar paint refresh • Installation of new LED fixtures on Half Moon Bay Drive • New HVAC in Main Office, Engineering Department • New HVAC in Police Chief Office, Lieutenants Office and Server Room • Painted hand rails at MTA Parking Lot • Landscaped and mulched the Municipal Building Water Department: • Meter reading for water billing • Maintenance to pumps and motors • Responded to 131 code 53-mark outs • Submission of monthly reports to Westchester County • Completed monthly water sampling • Replaced 84 non-working water meters • Work on Upper North Highland tank rehab/replacement project • Maintenance/Repairs to Chlorine systems • Work on lead service, line inventory list • Maintenance to orthophosphate system • Fixed 6 curb boxes • Cathodic protection turned on for season • (1) water leak (ours) • Repair damaged valve boxes • Replace antenna for SCADA System • Turn on seasonal waters Quarterly Report • Semi-Annual hydrant flushing • Service to Analyzers • NYSDEC water withdrawal report • Work on Lounsbury Road relining project • Assist DPW • New service line in tap at 155 Grand Street • Van Cortlandt Manor project – assist as needed Parks Department: • Installed and beautified area around Peace Pole • Upgraded Bocce Courts with benches, railings and score board • Continue removing debris and leaves from Village Parks and Playgrounds • Litter removal in Village parks and fields • Prepared fields for Spring/Summer use • Installed multiple new benches and tables in Village Parks Repair Facility: • Maintenance on all Village vehicles • Weekly inspection and maintenance of all police vehicles • Assist Fire Department with vehicle maintenance Capital Projects: • Continued the design process for the Half Mon Bay Bridge project • Continued working on design of renovations/addition to the Gouveia property to accommodate new Recreation Department • Performed Bid Review and Analysis for Cleveland Resurfacing • Worked on layout and submission for new RRFBs at Maple and Van Cortlandt • Worked with consultant for Upper North Highland inspection/feasibility study • Continued working with the contractor at the Dobbs Park Improvement project • Completed bid process for Lawn Maintenance and Tree Trimming contracts
