MILLER, Sylvanus Sylvanus Miller is listed as a 78-year-old resident of the 15th Ward of New York City in the 1850 United States Census. MILLS, Jonathan John Macdonald indicated that Jonathan Mills was 83 years old at the time of his interview on October 31, 1846.

He was a son of interviewee Nathaniel Montross. Montross was a general officer in the New York State Militia and was usually referred to by that rank by John Macdonald.
