The Recreation and Parks Department Quarterly Report September, October & November 2025. MISSION STATEMENT It is the mission of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson Recreation Department: to create and maintain aesthetically pleasing, safe, healthful, and enjoyable areas for residents; to provide positive, cost effective leisure opportunities which promote individual and community wellness for children, youth, adults and seniors; to promote the preservation and appropriate utilization of the Village’s recreational resources. The Recreation Department provides and plans for year-round classes, programs and special events. Some of the highlights for this quarter were: -Held 56 classes/programs and special events with 10 classes reaching capacity -Successful Goblin Walk and Dog Parade a that was attended by approximately 250-300 people. -Increase of winter kayak/canoe storage – 26 sold For a full description/list of Fall programing please refer to our Brochure.
