Third Quarter: December 1, 2024 – February 28, 2025
Highway
•
Finished leaf removal program throughout the Village
•
Installed holiday decor throughout the Village
•
Repaired 4 catch basins
•
Weekly asphalt maintenance (potholes and water patches)
•
Trimmed approximately 25 trees
•
Removed 12 trees (including grinding leftover stumps)
Sanitation:
•
Collected approximately 573 tons of refuse
•
Weekly collection of Village co-mingled, paper and metal recycling
•
Collected approximately 511 tons of organic waste
Building Maintenance:
•
Street light repairs
•
Replaced various signage throughout Village
•
Assist in EMS addition
Water Department:
•
Meter reading for water billing
•
Flushed hydrants
•
Maintenance to pumps and motors
•
Plumbing work at Wash Station
•
Responded to 86 code 53-mark outs
•
Submission of monthly reports to Westchester County
•
Assist DPW on low staff days

Parks Department:

Continue removing debris and leaves from Village Parks and Playgrounds

Continued preparing all necessary vehicles and equipment for the upcoming leaf season and start
prep for snow

Weekly inspection and maintenance of all police vehicles

Assist Fire Department with vehicle maintenance
Capital Projects:

Continued the design process for the Half Mon Bay Bridge project
•
Working towards approval for Cleveland resurfacing grant
•
Completed exterior framing for new EMS building including set bar joists, poured second floor
slab, roof bar joist and metal decking

Installed dense glass on entire exterior of building
•
Initiated design of new Farrington steps
•
Initiated design of renovations/addition to the Gouveia property to accommodate new Recreation
Department

Completed granite curbing and topsoil at Gotwald Circle
