QUARTER 3 FY 2025 – QUARTERLY REPORT MANAGER’S OFFICE Communications The Manager’s Office authored three Newsletters in Quarter 3 of FY 2025. The monthly newsletter is emailed directly to residents through the service Constant Contact, and includes a letter from the Manager detailing upcoming events, Village initiatives, and other important information. The current subscriber count is 4,484. A recent cleanup of our Constant Contact account of bouncing email addresses is responsible for the drop of approximately 300 subscribers. The readership and click rates for each issue are: • December 2024 Newsletter – 2,881 (65.8%) opens, 111 clicks • January 2025 Newsletter – 2,894 (66.4%) opens, 104 clicks • February 2025 Newsletter – 2,953 (66.6%) opens, 95 clicks The Village website currently has 10 email subscriptions available to residents. Resident Concerns The Village Manager’s Office collaborates with relevant departments or authorities to address specific issues raised by residents. Since December 1, 2024, the Manager’s Office has directly facilitated the resolution of: • 2 Tree Issues • 2 Signage Issues • 1 Quality of Life Issue • 2 Utility Issues • 2 Roadway Issues Emergency Management The Everbridge notification system is used to provide businesses and residents with important information regarding power outages, street closures, utility maintenance, local emergencies, and severe weather advisories through FEMA’s Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). To date, 3,379 residents have opted in to receive Emergency Notifications, and a total of 27 notifications were sent out through the Everbridge System this quarter. Public Meetings & Legislation During the third quarter of the fiscal year, the Village Board held a total of 6 regular meetings, and 3 work sessions. A total of 79 resolutions were adopted by the board. The following local laws were adopting during this quarter: • Local Law Introductory No. 12 of 2024 - Amends and updates various provisions of Chapter 230, Zoning, of the Code of Village of Croton-on- Hudson. • Local Law Introductory No. 15 of 2024 - Amends the Code of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson by adding a new Chapter 186 entitled “Rental Housing” and by adding Article I “Good Cause Eviction” thereto. • Local Law Introductory No. 16 of 2024 - Amends Chapter 135, Garbage, Rubbish, and Littering of the Village Code. • Local Law Introductory No. 1 of 2025 - Authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-C.
