Hains, Descendants of Local Pioneers, Will Observe Golden Wedding," The Daily Item, Port Chester, N.Y., April 25, 1936). The will of Phebe S. Park of Harrison, which was presented for probate on March 18, 1863, indicates that she was a single woman, and that John Park was her brother (Westchester County Wills Liber 46, p.217-218). Phebe Park is listed as a 50-year-old resident of the Town of Harrison in the 1850 United States Census, and as a 65-year-old resident of the Town of Harrison in the 1860 United States Census. Her tombstone in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, New York, indicates that she died on March 12, 1863, aged 73 years and 10 months (WCHS Book #33, p.142).
