--- PAGE 1 --- BEDFORD CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025-2026 CONTRACT FOR HEALTH AND WELFARE SERVICES This agreement is made in duplicate for the 2025/26 school year by and between the Board of Education, Bedford Central School District, County of Westchester, New York, and the Board of Education of the Croton School District, County of Westchester (the School District of Residence). WITNESSETH, that whereas the School District of Residence is duly empowered by the provisions of Section 912 of the Education Law to enter into a contract for the purposes of providing health and welfare services to the children residing in said school district and attending non-public schools in the Bedford Central School District, for a period covering September 2, 2025 through June 26, 2026. NOW, therefore, the School District of Residence agrees to pay the Bedford Central School District the sum of $1,965.12 per pupil for health and welfare services for 1 student(s) totaling $1,965.12 residing in the District of Residence and attending non-public school in the Bedford Central School District. It is further agreed that at the end of the current Bedford Central School District school year the foregoing charge will be recomputed using actual expenditures for health and welfare services and actual enrollment, and that a refund or additional charge will be made as required on the basis of said recomputation. And the Bedford Central School District hereby agrees with the School District of Residence as follows: 1. That the following services to be provided shall include, but not limited to, services performed by a physician, dentist, dental hygienist, nurse, school psychologist, school social workers, and school speech pathologist; taking of medical histories; vision and hearing tests; examination for employment certificates; notification of parents regarding defects and follow-up; instructions for first aide are for school emergencies. 2. The Bedford Central School District will also furnish the following to be used in providing such services as requested by the non-public school authorities: Supplies and equipment for use by physician, school nurse, psychologist, dental hygienist, social worker and speech pathologist (i.e. scales, vision & hearing test devices, health record forms, first aid supplies and all other readily transportable equipment and supplies pertaining to delivery of services). It is expressly agreed by and between the parties hereto that the services agreed to be supplied under this contract shall not include any teaching services. Services provided pursuant to this Agreement shall be provided without regard to race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability or sponsorship. This Agreement constitutes the full and complete Agreement between the SCHOOL DISTRICT PROVIDING SERVICES and the SCHOOL DISTRICT RECEIVING SERVICES and supersedes all prior written and oral agreements, commitments, or understandings with respect thereto. This Agreement may not be altered, changed, added to, deleted from, or modified except through the mutual written consent of the parties.
