On motion of TRUSTEE _____, seconded by TRUSTEE _______, the following 
resolution was adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on- 
Hudson, New York: 
 
Resolution #179-2020 
 
WHEREAS, on June 4, 2018, the Village of Croton-on-Hudson awarded a contract 
for cleaning services for Village-owned buildings to NSI Clean of Middletown, 
New York; and 
 
WHEREAS, on May 18, 2020, such contract was extended under the authority of 
General Municipal Law Section 103(4) through November 30, 2020; and 
 
WHEREAS, due to the continuing emergency conditions resulting from the 
COVID-19 pandemic, Village buildings remain closed to the public and social 
distancing rules must be adhered to; and 
 
WHEREAS, General Municipal Law Section 103(4) allows for the Board to let a 
contract without public bidding where necessary due to a public emergency arising 
out of an unforeseen occurrence or condition, 
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the Village Board of Trustees 
hereby extends the contract of NSI Clean for cleaning services for Village-owned 
buildings for an additional period of two months on the same terms and conditions 
as the current contract price of $3,276 per month.
