RE: NY State Stretch Energy Code
At its regularly scheduled meetings on April 12, 2022 and April 26, 2022, the Village of
Croton-on-Hudson Planning Board discussed the NY State Stretch Energy Code to
make a recommendation to the Village Board.
At the April 12th meeting, Planning Board members watched a power point presentation
prepared by the Croton on Hudson Sustainability Committee. At the April 26th meeting,
Planning Board members discussed the inevitability of NY State adopting the Stretch
Code, and since there are incentives for adopting it sooner, as well as obvious benefits
to the environment, the Planning Board would recommend that the Village Board adopt
the NY State Stretch Energy Code.
