§ 36-1

Authorization to designate official newspaper.

The Board of Trustees of the Village of Croton-on-Hudson is hereby authorized and empowered, by resolution, to designate from time to time a newspaper or newspapers as the official paper or papers of the village. Any newspaper published in the County of Westchester having a general circulation in the village may be so designated. If no official paper has been designated, the designation of a newspaper for the publication of a notice, resolution, local law or other proceeding of the Board shall be deemed a designation thereof as the official paper of the village for the purpose of such publication. Additional newspapers may be designated for the publication of village notices at the option of the Board.
