CLARK, Moses Moses Clark told John Macdonald that he was born in 1763. He is listed as an 86-yearold farmer in the Town or Eastchester, New York, in the 1850 United States Census. His tombstone in the First Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery in New Rochelle, New York, indicates that he died on October 11, 1850, aged 87 years, 5 months, and 20 days (WCHS Book #18, p.117).
CLINTON, Alexander (Dr.) Dr. Alexander Clinton was a grandson of James Clinton (1736-1812), who served as a major general in the Continental Army, and a great-nephew of George Clinton (1739- 1812), who served as a brigadier general in the Continental Army, Governor of New York, and Vice President of the United States. His tombstone in Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn indicates that he was born on April 7, 1793, and died on February 16, 1878. See his obituary in The New York Herald, February 19, 1878.
