FIELD, Jane
Jane Haviland Field was the widow of Aaron Field. She told John Macdonald that she was born in the Fall of 1765. Her tombstone in the Purchase Friends Meeting House Cemetery in Purchase, New York, indicates that she was born on November 11, 1765, and died on November 8, 1860 (WCHS Book #85, p.32).
FISH, Hamilton
Hamilton Fish was the son of Nicholas Fish (1758-1833), who held the rank of major in the 2nd New York Regiment during the Revolutionary War. Hamilton Fish was born on August 3, 1808, and died on September 7, 1893. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate, and held the offices of Lieutenant Governor of New York, Governor of New York, and Secretary of State under President Ulysses S. Grant.
FORD, Hannah
Hannah Lockwood Ford was the daughter of Captain Samuel Lockwood of the Connecticut Militia, and was the widow of Eliakim Ford. She is listed as an 83-year-old resident of the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut, in the 1850 United States Census.
