The census enumerator most likely meant to indicate that she was 79 years old, which was her correct age at the time. Her tombstone in Buxton Cemetery in Bedford indicates that she died on December 18, 1851, aged 80 years, 9 months, and 9 days (WCHS Book #2, p.78).
