KIPP, Gilbert Gilbert Kipp was a brother of interviewee Benjamin Kipp and a nephew or Captain Samuel Kipp and Lieutenant James Kipp of DeLancey's Refugees. He is listed as an 84-year-old farmer in the Town of New Castle, New York, in the 1850 United States Census.
KIPP, Samuel Samuel Kipp was a son of Captain Samuel Kipp of DeLancey's Refugees. He told John Macdonald that he was born in 1780. His tombstone in June Cemetery in North Salem indicates that he died on January 11, 1848, aged 67 years, 10 months, and 16 days (WCHS Book #54, p. 35).
KNAPP, ____ (Mr.) John Macdonald did not provide the first name of Mr. Knapp, who was a resident of Cos Cob in Greenwich, Connecticut. He participated in a portion of an interview with Zaccheus Mead on October 26, 1844.
