His tombstone in White Plains Rural Cemetery in White Plains, New York, indicates that he died on September 29, 1846, aged 82 years (WCHS Book #38, p.86).

MILLER, David (Captain, or Bedford) John Macdonald indicated that David Miller was 80 years old at the time of his interview on October 31, 1846. He is listed as an 83-year-old resident of the Town of Bedford in the 1850 United States Census. His tombstone in the Old Burying Ground in Bedford indicates that he died on May 14, 1859 aged 92 years, 9 months, and 17 days (WCHS Book #2, p.13).

MILLER, David (or White Plains) David Miller is listed as a 60-year-old undertaker in the Town of White Plains, New York, in the 1850 United States Census.

MILLER, Hannah Hannah Maple Miller told John Macdonald that she was 86 years old at the time of her interview on November 19, 1845, 88 years old at the time of her interview on November 21, 1846, and that she was in her 90th year at the time of her interview on November 16, 1848.
