Park or Harrison, which was presented for probate on March 18, 1863, indicates that she was a single woman, and that John Park was her brother (Westchester County Wills Liber 46, p.217-218). Phebe Park is listed as a 50-year-old resident of the Town of Harrison in the 1850 United States Census, and as a 65-year-old resident of the Town of Harrison in the 1860 United States Census. Her tombstone in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, New York, indicates that she died on March 12, 1863, aged 73 years and 10 months (WCHS Book #33, p.142).

PAULDING, George W. George W. Paulding was a son of John Paulding, one of the three captors of British Major John André. He is listed as a 59-year-carpenter in 8th Ward or New York City in the 1850 United States Census. PAULDING, John John Paulding was a first cousin of John Paulding, one of the three captors of British Major John André. His father, Peter Paulding, was a brother of the captor's father, Joseph Paulding. PAULDING, John (Colonel) John Paulding was a nephew of John Paulding, one of the three captors of British Major John André. The captor was a brother of the interviewee's father, William. According to genealogist Grenville Mackenzie, this John Paulding was born in 1787. A petition for probate was filed with the Westchester County Surrogate's Court on October 8, 1862 (Westchester County Wills Liber 45, p.514).
